Hot Club De Paris deserves a listen. I think it sounds like a bit of Vampire Weekend and apparently futureheads. By any stretch Hot Club De Paris is punky/pop. Here is a better review.

thought shipwreck was the most interesting song. Didn't really dig it at first but they had me at the end. Its really creative. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is the pitch of their voices.
